PUPPIEs' FAMILY PHOTOS
Wonderful puppy owner comments regarding their “little angels” --- please enjoy ---

Hello Darla,

I looked to put this letter on your website but did not see how to do it so I am emailing you how much we appreciate how well you bring up your labradoodles.

You said Fulton was sweet and you were not kidding. He entered our home and, with tail wagging, went right up to the kids happy as can be, playfully jumping up to greet them'; and he was not nervous one bit. He smelled good, his soft fleece fur felt good, he looked darling (the photo did not do him justice - black really is hard to photograph). He was charming, friendly, playful and relaxed. He went potty right away when we got him home, out of the car and straight into the dog run to go potty. Said, "Go potty" a few times, he sniffed around and squated. SMART DOG!

We brought him in the kitchen and he adapted quite well right away. No shyness, no hiding, no backing away. He had fun with my kids Reese (5) and Chad (8) and came up to my husband and myself and started playing with a couple toys we had. Then we assembled the crate and put his blanket in with a toy and he went right in. We did not even have to coax him. He sniffed around, lay down, chewed on his toy awhile and came back out. He went in and out of his cage freely like he was used to it. A couple times, I swear he knows the word "No" and "sit" because he stopped nibbling our hands when we said "no" and my youngest said "sit" and he sat. Coincidence? Doubtful.

You have obviously done a great job raising the best breed for families possible. My husband said your place was impressively immaculate. The dogs have a wonderful place there.

Fulton Cruiser went potty a couple more times (following your advice on your paperwork) and even deficated 10 minutes after dinner (which he ate no problem). Then he got some more cuddle time and at 8 we put him in his crate with a chew toy and said goodnight. He cried a little bit but if we kept it real quiet and did not go to him, he went to sleep. He adapted here wonderfully and I think he will be easy to potty train.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for producing a wonderful pet for our family. Thanks also to the parents, Gabe and Honeybunch, for producing a puppy with a great disposition. We feel so fortunate. Pictures soon to come.

“Mom, life is so much better now that we have Briggs”

… music to my ears. This pup is with the right family. He is loved. Thank you Darla!”

Then Angel owner Crista adds: “When things settle down I would also like to write a note to you so other potential clients know how wonderful I think you are. You have answered every question, you have been patient with me, you have followed through and ultimately it is pretty clear that this little pup you gave us knows how to love and be loved. I am happy for you to give my name/email/phone number as a reference.”

“Just an update about Briggs (Honeybunch’s pup Nov 2006) is doing well and has enjoyed an active summer. He loves the water and has no trouble jumping off the boat for a swim. He has enjoyed his hikes, the dog park and just hanging out at the cabin. The kids adore him and he sure is a big part of our family. Thank you for such a great dog.” …CF

Darla,

Just a quick update on the pup. The boys have named her Scoober (a special throw in Ultimate Frisbee, a sport the boys are crazy about). The car trip home was uneventful - you did a great job aclimating her to the car!

She has has adjusted extremely well to her new home, knows where her potty spot is, and passed her vet visit with flying colors. The vet said, "You found yourself a good breeder; she's in very good shape.".

She has learned "sit" and "lie down" and is catching on to "leave it". She's very smart - probably the smartest dog I've ever had.

I'm going to send you a picture of my son, Jake, his girlfriend, Sonja, and Scoober. She even poses well!

Thank you so much for our new family member!

Best,
CG

The reports are that Dakota, now 9 weeks is almost potty trained and is staying nicely in his crate at night. The youngest owner in this family comments that he’s the best puppy we could have gotten. Thank you very much.

Ginger’s family says: “You can’t believe how well she fits into this family. She is just like one of the children. We are having such a great time with her and our children love her more than you can imagine…..Lastly, when I walk Ginger, I am stopped daily by people asking me what kind of dog she is, telling me how beautiful her red color is and asking me where I got her.”

Mack is a totally handsome fellow with a personality to match! Mack has a honey/gold colored fleece coat with apricot highlights and ears. He is adored and doing well with his wonderful adoptive family.

Honeybunch the 2nd is named for her Mom. Her owners say “she is the sweetest, brightest, and happiest little pup. She has brought so much joy to our lives! We couldn’t have even imagined that we could love a puppy this much…. She is just the best.”

Lucy is being well taken care of by these two little Angel owners. You can bet Lucy gets as good as she gives in the hugs and kisses department.

”…have to start off with, Riley was a hit at our first session. (obedience). The trainer said he gets the prize for the cutest dog in attendance. Most of the participants come up to me and asked all sorts of questions: what kind of dog is he? How old is he, and he is the cutest thing. ….After hours of playing with the grand kids this afternoon……he had enough energy to last the hour at obedience. He lasted two minutes before crashing when he got home.” “Darla, I love this dog!” “Have we told you lately, we love our dog!!”…CR

I have had several dogs thru out my life, but none as loving and well behaved as Tucker from Darla’s. Tucker is smart, cuddly, and social, but independent and strong when he needs to be. I couldn’t ask for a better dog. I am grateful to Darla for providing such a wonderful companion for me.

Santana and Dylan are brothers a litter apart adopted by the same family. Their Mom says: “….They were just meant to be brothers. I wish you could see how happy they are.”

The new owners say “Thanks again for our new little piece of happiness.”

“We all love him already. You have done a wonderful job raising him.”

“Krouton has generated a lot of interest around these parts. We have recommended Labradoodle Angels to another family here. Hope he might have a brother nearby!”

“Hi Darla, “Popie has such a loving temperamenet and sweet disposition, he has brought nothing but joy to my life. I am so happy that he is in my life. What a gift he is. Thank You Darla for such a wonderful puppy!” …T

“We are really enjoying Kody being part of our lives. Ryan adores her.” …… “just a little sweetheart”.

“The vet complimented your documentation you provided. The receptionist said she has never seen anything so organized and nice. I appreciate all the love you gave him (the puppy) and it does show. He really has good manners. He really is a great great dog. Thanks again. "

Sophie has been a great addition to our family. She is one smart puppy. She knows how to sit, and she is so funny she knows the word NO with hand signal and gets on her tummy and talks back to us when we use it. Loves to play and we are having a great time. She has been letting us know when she has to go potty and when we do not notice her at the door, she goes into the litter box we set up for her next to the door. So, Darla, Thank you for breeding such awesome lovely dogs.

“Gabbi is unbelievably smart. For a snack she will sit, lie down, shake and roll over. She also has the best personality. I can’t wait until she gets her final shot so we can begin socializing with other dogs.”

Winston is 11 months old but still loves for his people Dad to give him hugs and rides on his shoulder. Winston’s Mom says his personality is truly hard to beat. He still loves his puppy blanket dragging it around the house and plopping on it when he wants a nap. He continues to be a great source of entertainment and joy in our household. I never thought we would be so gaga over a DAWG!!

This is Dude celebrating Xmas ’08 in the snow with one of his owners and best play buddy. Just too much fun!!! Tip: A quick and easy way to remove snow balls from your doodles coat is either the shower or a spray faucet in the sink.

“Every night, my husband and I lay in bed and just marvel at how sweet and well behaved Honeybunch is – getting her was the best decision we have ever made. We just adore her and are so thankful that she’s a part of our family.” …LMB

“We want you to know that Surry is just a love. We are both so crazy about her. She has the sweetest disposition, she’s such a clown and so smart, and she’s brought a whole new dimension and joy to our lives. And, drumroll, last Friday she passed her Canine Good Citizen test (with flying colors) for her certification to be a therapy dog! Needless to say, we are both very proud parents! We could not be happier. … She is the perfect dog! Definitely worth waiting 30 years to get just the right canine addition.” …BJ

“He is such a smart pup! He is already coming when called, sitting, and fetching. We are working on laying down, and not jumping. And he almost has it so he will go to the door when he needs to go out. …He is a joy, Thank you again!.” …KS

“Sophie has now traveled cross country to Washington DC where she walked the city and participated in the crohns and colitis walk around the tidal basin. She was very good on the plane, no one knew we had a dog under the seat. …She also travels well in the car to Seattle almost every weekend, and has been sailing a few times. Very good on the boat as well. Everyone loves her and…she loves everyone as well. We have a bell on the back door that she rings when she has to go potty.” …EG “Such a Sweetheart!.” …BG

“Just wanted to let you know Custer seems to be adjusting really well and having a great time….He is learning quickly to potty outside and this morning even asked to go out. …Thank you so much for choosing Custer for our family. He is perfect – he is fun to play with, but yet not startled easily, and has no problem being handled and he lets you rub his belly, play with his ears, tail, without any reservations. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We are having so much fun with him.” AB

“Darla, just to let you know our new boy is a areal joy. He had way more personality than we knew. He still is a sweet mellow little guy, but can he PLAY too! He is already very attached to us and we to him. He is doing well with his crate training…and he sure loves to eat. …We are very happy with our puppy! …S&NJ

“Just wanted to drop a line and let you know how we are so totally in love with Lucy. She just had her one year birthday and she continues to bring us so much love, happiness, and hours of laughter. We thank you so much for being the key part in breeding such an awesome dog. We check your website often, just to torment ourselves with what puppies you have available.” …C&R&L&B

“Chip – “We are doing good together…He only woke up once last night to go outside, and he didn’t make a peep when put in his kennel. He has a wonderful personality and it is a lot of fun seeing his reaction to things. My cat and Chip are still trying to figure out what to make of each other, but they seem to be on track to becoming life long friends. They are really cute together. Thanks Again.”…KAS

“Just a quick note to let you know how happy we are Charlie is part of our family …because he is such a good traveler (in particular flying). He’s been to Ontario, Canada, and the coast in California. Charlie is 17 lbs now, is active, smart and loving. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog. Again, thank you for Charlie.”…M

JC comments that “Jazzie is so much fun, and we are in love with her! She has brought so much happiness to our home. Jazzie is smart and friendly and loves to play, play, play! She is a joy to everyone she meets. We are so blessed to have gotten our puppy from you. Thank you so much. We always refer people to you.”
